All her life, Abigail has been one to worry and fuss over everyone like they were her kids. If she had a nickel for every time someone called her mom sarcastically, Abigail would be filthy rich. Even though it's hard to tell so when you first meet her (Abigail looks like any other blonde sorority girl), you find out fast how much of a mother hen she is. Hungry? Abigail will whip up a sandwich like magic (well, not like magic...it usually is magic, but we'll get to that later). Burned yourself with your flat iron? Nurse Abby can take care of that! Spilled cherry Kool-Aid all over your favorite shirt? Abigail is a master of stain removal. Maybe it's because she had to take care of her mother for most of her life, Abigail will never know. Taking custody of her niece Marlee only doubled this side of her nature and now most people would agree Abigail has a sixth-sense for danger (though she just calls it a mother's instinct).
CARING/SUPPORTIVE/HELPFULL;;
Abigail loves to not only take care of people but better and improve them. It's the only similarity she claims to have with the Fairy Godmother. Even though Abby has taken up a...more, shall we say, self-centered, job to care for Marlee, Abigail could care less about how she looks (besides her clothes). It's everyone else that she wants to look fabulous! Sleepovers with Abigail have always been notorious for her amazing make-overs and then, once her family came into money, the free-for-alls in her walk-in closet. She should really be a host of What Not to Wear. Abigail loves to better everyone she comes across in both the physical and mental aspect. With her minor in psychology, Abigail's now always asking "how does that make you feel" out of both concern and for shits and giggles.

As a kid, Abigail had to come up with ways to dress herself with things from Walmart when she really wanted to be wearing Gucci, Prada, Michael Kors and the like. She discovered thrift stores and the magical idea of layering. Ever since then, Abby has been resourceful and creative, able to make anything out of anything. A regular MacGiver.

You'd think Abigail was nothing but sugar, but she's got her fair share of spice. Abby is blunt. She really doesn't think before sharing her opinion, and she really hates it at times. God forbid you ask her if those pants make your butt look big. abigail will give you her opinion whether you want it or not, so make sure your feelings don't get easily hurt. Abigail would hate to upset you.

Maryanne Calhoun had always had dreams of grandour. Little ole Blacksville, Tennessee was never big enough for her: she had always dreamt of becoming a famous make-up designer in New York city. And so the day she turned 18, Maryanne moved to the big city. It was hard and not at all what she expected; she worked three meager jobs and rented a tiny apartment. Two years later, she met Benny Dustin. It was love at first sight; four months into their relationship and Maryanne was pregnant with Abigail. They got married and a year later, Natalie was born. It was hard to care for both children to say the least. Most Thursdays they had dinner at a soup kitchen and the winters were cold.
Abigail, even as a kid, was determined to get out of that life. She began to study hard at school and played soccer in hopes of getting into college for free. Maryanne was so proud of her daughter, but worried constantly about natalie. Even as children, she exhibited signs of a negative future. Abigail continued on with her life and was quite popular by middle school; parents at school often invited Abby to spend the weekends with them where she could both have fun and be less of a worry for her parents. The day before shebegan high school, however, the Fairy Godmother awoke. Abigail was totally freaked that she was supposed to be an old lady. How weird, right? The Fairy Godmother gave Abigail a hair pin that, when needed, would expand to a glittering blue wand. If she concentrated hard enough and had the energy, she could perform spells. FG warned her, though, that there would be negative consequences for the large spells. Abigail came around soon and got used to the idea that she hosted a plump old lady and could even sense others like her.
She got into trouble at seventeen.
Their family was poorer than ever; they hAd to split a measley bag of ramen between the two sisters for lunch and dinner. One night, Abigail cast a spell of good fortune and convinced her mother to buy a lottery ticket.
They won the jackpot.
Abigail was so happy; they spent a good bit getting settled, then invested most of it. Life was good. Until the consequence came. Natalie had been getting into the wrong crowd; smoking, drinking, partying. She got knocked up at sixteen. Even though the baby daddy wanted nothing to do with his unborn daughter, Natalie wanted to keep her. They had money. Maryanne wouldn't allow that, though. Natalie would have to care for Marley (named after the Rastafarian) with her own money. It lasted a year before Natalie was out. Abigail took care of Marley all the time when Nat smoked weed anyways; it only made sense for her to adopt her niece. Marley was one and Abby had just started at Barrie.

It shouldn't have been surprisingwhen it happened since Abby and Nat looked so much alike, but Abigail still teared up when Marley began to call her mommy. There was no getting out of it now; Marley was her's. Unfortunately, Abigail's job at a photography salon (she made girls look beautiful for professional pictures) wouldn't pay for a growing toddler. The only job that Abigail could find that would give her and Marley a secure life was as a stripper. Several nights a week, she finds a babysitter and puts away her pride to become Miss Magic. The first few nights, Abigail came home and cried herself to sleep. Stripping disgusted her and FG, but it took care of Marley. That's what mattered.
Aside from her second life as a surrogate mom, Abigail has a pretty normal life as a college student. She loves to have fun with her friends and surrounds herself with positive people. Recently, her fashion blog took off and her time is usually eaten up by that. One day, Abigail is determined to become a famous designer. For now, she's content where she is.
