personality
PUSHOVER Hazel is essentially a pushover. She'll do anything for anyone if they ask her. She's never really learned to assert dominance over a person, which is attributed by her lack of siblings. She's never had to be dominant over anyone, and so she's grown up being extremely passive. If she's asked nicely, or even if she's threatened or asked in a rude way, Hazel will give in to people. She does have morals, but it's easy to guilt trip her into anything, mostly because of her low self confidence and need to be liked.
NEED TO FEEL LOVED In addition to her passivity, Hazel always wants to fit in and feel loved. She is an only child, but lived in a very well-to-do family and her parents were constantly working or traveling. She was always trying to fit in throughout grade school in indiana and middle school in england before she was flung to her new home in new york the summer before her freshman year. She had a slew of nannies in her younger years, none of which were ever attached to her, nor she to them. Ever since she was young, Hazel has changed herself to feel as if she belongs and people care about her. She is constantly giving in to the needs of others because of her passivity AND her want to feel like she is special.
OTHER PERSONALITY TRAITS Hazel has a handful of other dominant personality traits, but none as big as her need for love and passivity. Hazel is a friendly person, and is always looking to do anything to make any kind of friend. Hazel was never taught anything but the utmost manners and respectful way to talk to people. Essentially, Hazel is a happy teenager. She's quite talkative when she's not being pushed aside or talked over. She usually lets people interrupt her, but was taught never to say anything or interrupt back. Hazel is really just glad to be living and glad to have people who like her enough to talk to her.

AT LEAST THREE PARAGRAPHS
CHILDHOOD Hazel was born in the city of Indianapolis. She was born to a successful business man and his real estate agent wife. Hazel had a relatively easy childhood, though her parents were never home. Her father was constantly on business trips, as was her mother. Over her first ten years, Hazel went through at least twenty different nannies. Hazel found it hard to become attached to any adult because they were in and out of her life so often, but attempted her best to please them every chance she could get. Hazel was cemented in their beautiful cookie-cutter home for the majority of her childhood, living your typical indiana suburban lifestyle.
PRE-TEENS When Hazel turned 11, she was whisked away from her home in Indianapolis to London, England. She started middle school there and was very much eager to please all the new people she was meeting. She wanted to make as many friends as possible in this new place, because she had left every one of her childhood friends home in America. Hazel enjoyed the scenery change, and the idea that she no longer needed a nanny. Her parents continued to be absent from her life, but she still craved their happiness, and the happiness of her peers.
LATE TEENS Once Hazel turned 14, the peer pressure to try drugs and alcohol skyrocketed. She of course gave in on many levels whenever she was asked. Hazel began smoking cigarettes on her fourteenth birthday as a result of pressure from her "best friend." She quickly found herself addicted to tobacco and continued to try the different drugs pushed on her by her friends. Just before Hazel was moved to New York, she began drinking heavily and going to parties. When she was whisked away to a new city, Hazel was happy to stop depending on the alcohol, and was greatly hoping to start a new chapter in high school, and back in America.
present
FIRST IMPRESSION. Hazel was amazed at how similar New York and London were in size and morals. She was happy to be back in her home country, but skeptical that anything would change from her life in London. However, starting high school, Hazel put on a happy face and eagerly began making friends once more. She attempted to keep herself from those who seemed much like her former English friends, but was unable to completely block them out. She was still pressured to do drugs and drink, which she obliged to in order to please those whom she wanted to consider her friends.
CURRENTLY Hazel is still smoking frequently, unbeknownst to her parents. She is occasionally taken out onto the clubbing scene, having been pressured into getting a fake ID. When she is alone, however, Hazel doesn't drink or do anything drastic. She is finding herself being pulled more and more into all different directions, however. She is very much still being manipulated, but is beginning to fear where her life will end up if she continues being around people she has to question if they care for her well being or not.

...literature*
book title the boy who cried wolf
backstoryThe sheep were those who were being preyed on by the wolf. Oblivious and unaware to the danger, the sheep continued on with themselves, much like Hazel. Hazel does what the group tells her to do, and blithely ignores the fact danger could be lurking. She's avoiding dying and being injured through her seventeen years, despite the risks she's taken for others. She should listen to the boy crying wolf because the trouble will become real soon, but she won't believe him because she's escaped it so many times before

rp sample Normally, Kieara wasn't really a reader. As of lately, though, she couldn't stop. She was reading all kinds of books about artists, and actors. All of a sudden she had this passion for wanting to know everything. She knew it was only for a limited time period, though. Either way, she had checked out a pile of books from the library, and had hauled them out to the courtyard. She settled herself in a shady spot and cracked open one of the books. She began reading and immediately became totally absorbed in every word. She studied the pictures, retaining the information in both the images and in the text.
She had started with a book on the history of theater, and she was thoroughly interested in the subject matter. She read about all the different plays, actors, and where everything had begun. She chewed on her lip, studying each and every line of text carefully. The only thing currently on her mind was what the book was telling her, informing her on. She couldn't hear, smell, or feel anything but the book in her hands. In all honesty, she wouldn't have noticed had the earth cracked under her feet. There wasn't a thing that could pull her from the trance this book had put her in. She quickened her pace, easily finishing the three hundred fifty pages.
She moved onto the next book, a thick tome on the techniques of sketching. This book mostly consisted of images and instructions on how to sketch the perfect picture. This book interested Kieara even more, because when she didn't have an abundance of paint, she sketched just about everything. She began studying the different techniques, wishing she had remembered to bring her sketch book so she could practice. She made a mental note to renew this book as soon as possible and use what she was learning. She flipped through and stuck several colored page holders throughout the book before setting it aside. She finally blinked, letting her eyes readjust to the real world outside of the graying pages she had been staring at for what seemed like hours.
