personality
openly awkward with his sexuality. First off, Felix really likes boys. In all honesty, he'd be the first to tell anyone that. He's always liked boys, ever since he was young; he's convinced he was born to be gay. He doesn't usually openly hit on guys like you'd think, but he does let it be known that he does not dig boobs and girly parts. It makes him feel incredibly bad when a girl flirts with him without knowing he doesn't drive on her side of the road. He's not a super flirt, but he does sort of turn very teenage girl-ish when he likes a guy. He'd never admit it, but he probably blushes more than his twin sister, and she's an actual teenage girl.
quiet/reserved Needless to say, Felix is the quieter of the twins. He doesn't like to be open and social very much. He's always had a small circle of friends and doesn't really like to branch out. Even within his circle, he's most definitely never the loud one. He does enjoy to crack jokes on occasion, but more often than not, he likes to stay quiet and let others take the wheel. He can be more vocal around the people he's close to, but it would take a very long while or a whole lot of coaxing to get him to that point.
numb Felix is generally pretty numb to most feelings. He's very neutral, and it takes a lot to make him overly joyous about anything. He's been through a lot, and he's pretty much learned to block things out, and develop a thick skin. It can be easier to get him down on some days rather than others, but up is not a place you will see him very often. He doesn't get too deep into his depression if he can help it, but you'll almost never see him excited or extremely happy.
past
childhood Felix and his twin sister were born on April 26th, in a huge hospital in Seattle. Unluckily for them, there were a lot of complications regarding their birth. Simply put, without all the medical mumbo jumbo, it was either they live, or their mother lived. The choice that was made by some higher power is now obvious. Felix and his sister grew up with their father, who was very doting when they were young. However, being a single father was not easy and they spent most of their younger years with their grandparents, switching between the sides of the family. Felix and his sister were always very close, practically attached at the hip, despite their numerous differences in personality. When they did get to spend time with their father, he was nothing but loving. He spoiled them as best as he could, even if it wasn’t much, but Felix always appreciated what he had. Felix's father always supported his children, but his lack of presence made it hard on Felix. He never had a concrete father figure in his life. Later he would find that this made it difficult to connect, be connected, and to simply feel. He lacked the real true love from a parent, and thus had trouble learning what unconditional love really was.
adolescence Felix knew from a very very young age that he was not like the other boys. He loved being around boys, and generally avoided any girls that weren’t his twin sister. However, he never played with the boys, and thus was ridiculed in elementary school and into intermediate and middle school. The one thing Felix found comfort in was running cross country. He began his sixth grade year, and fell in love with the sport. That same year he essentially “came out” to his father and sister. He admitted that he knew he didn’t exactly like girls, but his father insisted he’d grow into it. Felix begrudgingly took the opinion, but never believed it. As Felix got into middle school, things started to get worse. He dressed differently than other boys, and did different things. He never joined in on the discussions of which girls were the cutest, and who they thought they would “date” in high school. It didn’t take long for the realization to set in for the other kids, and then the real bullying began. In all honesty, there had been "bullying" before. It was nothing but school yard teasing and taunting though, nothing to really think about. Since Felix had always been the quiet kid, he'd been the butt of many jokes in class, as well as a few practical jokes. He had been taking the poking and prodding of being the "quiet nerd" for his entire school career thus far. Felix’s twin sister always stuck up for him when she caught it happening, but she wasn’t always there. In fact, she was almost never there. Despite being close at home, it seemed the twins were on opposite ends of the social spectrum. His sister would never disown him purposely, but it didn't help that he was known as "the prettiest, nicest, coolest girl in the class's brother." The majority of the bullying was in the locker room, and that was what made Felix uncomfortable. He started dressing in whatever nook or cranny he could wiggle into behind a vending machine just to avoid the bullying. After a while, of course, the self harm started, but it went unrealized to his father and sister until the end of eighth grade.
Teenage years. When Felix became open about his self harm due to the years of bullying in every degree, that’s when his father started to become more concerned. His father had been in and out of his life for years, but with good reason. The lack of a definite parental figure in his life had never helped everything Felix was facing, though. His father wanted to be there, but being a single dad supporting two children had never been easy. Felix's father wanted nothing but the best for his child, but he had never been in this situation, and was still catching up on the lives of his children. In an attempt to be both a mother and father figure, Felix's father did his best to support and try to help Felix with therapy among other things. Despite his father’s efforts, though, Felix couldn’t help the harming anymore, and he couldn’t take the bullying. He went through his first three years of high school in Seattle. The cutting stopped the week right before he started sophomore year. Felix realized he would never make it without a tough skin, and that was when the numbing really started. He became the star of the cross country team that year, despite being an underclassman. However, the bullying still did not stop completely. He was popular only during his sport's season. As soon as the winter season started, Felix was back to being the nerdy gay boy. He was constantly being asked to do homework for the popular kids, but when he quietly refused, he was shoved and beaten. He was constantly ridiculed for his opposing personality from his twins, as she was never the best student, but was wildly social. It seemed that every day he was being picked on for something new, never hearing the same insult twice. In fact, as he got through the school year, it seemed more about his lack of caring than his sexuality at all. He was poked at even more for the fact he never fought back rather than anything else. Felix continued to silently suffer the taunting through his sophomore and junior years. His senior year, however, Felix’s father managed to convince his grandparents on both sides that the school was good for his cross country, and they pitched in to send him to Baum.
present
Felix’s grandparents and his father all helped Felix get to Baum, as well as a tad bit of money he’d earned through his cross country records. Felix’s twin stayed behind in Seattle, and though he is almost lost without her, Felix is determined to make his senior year bearable and nothing like his previous school years. He loves living in New York, and he much prefers it to Seattle.
Felix enjoys the fact that he’s still attending a semi-large school. He’s captain of the track and field team, despite his specialty being cross country mostly. He does a lot of relays and has recently discovered a love for pole vaulting. He’s also an active member of the GSA and couldn’t be prouder. He’s hoping to obtain scholarships to send him to Barrie, if he can’t get the help from his family.

book title the many adventures of winnie the pooh
backstory So, Winnie the pooh lives in the hundred acre wood and all that good stuff. He's got lots of friends there. One of his many friends is Eeyore, the stuffed donkey. Eeyore is generally pessimistic, and just...not a people person. He's got a pinned on tail that's always falling off and I'm almost positive his favorite thing to say is "thanks for noticin' me."
