Geoff is a lean fellow, not terribly tall, with a sort of feminine bone structure. Trust, it didn't go missed in high school. He has vivid blue eyes, high cheekbones, and pretty lips. He's notably thoughtful looking, his glasses sitting at the bridge of his nose as he taps his thumb again his mouth, trying to think of something. Though not terribly graceful on his feet, he is quite nimble with his hands. He's currently quite tanned after his stay in Chad, but that's likely to fade as he has the skin tone of a vampire. Especially with her coroner job. Besides that, he has freckles.

Generally, when he's not in scrubs, he's dressed in a couple of long sleeve shirts and trousers. Sometimes he'll wear a jacket with it, or carry a messenger bag, but his style is not by any means distinctive. Comfortable, fitting right into place at a starbucks.

Geoff is a sensitive soul, highly in tuned with people around him. He supposes it's one of his better traits, as he has a gentle bedside manner. He has an awkwardness about him out of scrubs, and people he calls friends are a bit few. Geoff has a habit down playing the achievements in his life, and will even accidentally self sabotage himself by highlighting the bad. Needless to say, he's a bit romantically challenged.

Shrewd and cautious, he has gone through life testing the waters. Even the choices that seem to be on the more spontaneous side (ie: Quitting surgical school, joining the peace corps, etc) are well thought out and planned. Though his cautious nature is often combated by an urge for some excitement and adventure. Despite being organized to the hilt, he's never been put off by a dangerous situation. Though people he cares about should avoid those, as even as a grown man, Geoff has a vivid and strong imagination, which needs to be carefully governed. Otherwise he may find too much to worry about. Ironically, he's attracted to people he has to worry about, because they keep him busy. And then he wonders why he's romantically cursed. Brave in the face of adversity, this tenacious young man will sift through life’s problems.

He's a sentimental man. He grows attached to people, children, animals fairly quickly when he vibes well with them. And he'll go down with that loyalty to the end, rest assured. But do not think of him as useless by any means, or just a puddle of emotions. Though he is the one to grow attached, he is incredibly practical and to the point. He's docile until provoked, and as said: He'll go down with a loyalty until the end. If you mess with the people he cares about, he'll make sure you'll never do it again. Geoff isn't vengeful, but he is a quick learner.

Geoffrey Wilson Carlisle is an intelligent young man. He graduated with honours, was accepted into a prestigious surgeon internship program, and kept top marks going while he attended said program. However, he's also a highly empathetic soul. He quit after two years in the program because he hated the cut throat nature of it all, and simply went into a common general practitioners program. He wanted to help people, really get in touch with people. So while as a surgeon he'd have the skills to pay the bills, he didn't have the stomach for it. Besides, hearing the joke "What's the difference between God and a Surgeon? God doesn't think he's a surgeon. Yuk yuk yuk." was absolutely annoying. He doesn't like high competition, because he doesn't like what it does to people.
