brief description. Angel is proud of her body and takes a certain joy in showing it off and even exploiting it. She never had to worry about holding on to baby fat growing up due to being underfed and consistently staying on the brink of being malnourished, which definitely gave her a nice advantage when she began to build up lean muscle for hanging off of poles. A girl's got to make a living, after all. She was moderately blessed by nature, but Angel's of the mindset that you can always improve things you don't like, and when you gain magical abilities...well, it's a lot less messy than going under the knife, right? When she bothers to crawl out of her apartment during the daytime, Angel still manages to dress as revealing as possible. You could say she's viciously hungry for attention.

children. You wouldn't know (because Angel would kill you before she let you in on her secrets), but Angel is terrified of the idea of being responsible for another human. She's almost positive she would end up abandoning her child like her own mother did, and Angel couldn't live with herself if she did.
brief history.
Some people just are not created to be wanted. They live out their miserable, short lives being kicked around and abused like a stray dog. Sometimes, that sperm was not supposed to meet that egg. Unfortunately, even the most well-protected one night stands can lead to another human being. In Angel's case, she was the unwanted reminder of a drug-fueled hookup. In her mother's eyes, this child was taking up space for nine whole months and this bitch wasn't even paying rent.
Without surprise, Angel was quickly disposed of at the closest orphanage.
That was in Lucasville, Ohio, and it was where Angel lived until she was eighteen years old. Lucasville was a dull and drab little town with most of its residents trying not to be dragged down below the poverty line. Its bars were always crowded and the churches always empty. Angel's orphanage, St. Peter's Children's Home, was run down and ragged, and had long ago gave up on putting a lot of effort into adopting out its wards. Although she was a giggling blonde toddler, Angel never piqued anyone's interest. It wasn't until she was older, around ten, that she would finally be fostered out, only to be handed right back to the orphanage.
Why wouldn't any family take her? Angel never understood it, but all the other kids tended to shy away from her. They say children have a sixth sense for when there's something off about a person, and they must have sensed that Angel was not just one person. Ever since she can remember, Angel has always been accompanied by an old man: Merlin.
